Not reaching a Division 1 final won’t be a big deal to Kerry if they heed their lessons from the league, maintains Diarmuid O’Connor.

All four of the county’s All-Irelands won under Jack O’Connor were preceded by league triumphs in that same season. Nevertheless, he, as well as his midfielder and namesake, have played down the significance of possibly missing out on the decider this time.
