Cian Lynch has acknowledged that the hamstring injury which ruined his 2022 Championship campaign with Limerick was a career threatening one.

The two-time Hurler of the Year missed the majority of that summer's games and then, just days before the All-Ireland final, suffered a separate ankle injury.
