Pádraic Joyce wasn’t at the helm for Galway’s draw with Dublin in the 2018 league encounter, but he still made his dissatisfaction with the conclusion of that contest known.

While commentating on RTÉ Radio, the two-time All-Ireland winner took issue with Dublin’s approach to the end-game. They had trailed by five at half-time yet roared back to lead by one as the clock ticked into extra-time. Then the trouble started.
