Pat Ryan rued a forgettable third quarter for Cork when they managed to score just once to Clare’s seven points.

Only a point down at half-time having faced the breeze, it might have appeared the hard work was done but then Clare transformed themselves as Cork struggled to make the ball do the work having ran with it in the opening half.
