Pat O’Shea returns to take reins at Dr Crokes
Colm Cooper celebrates with manager Pat O'Shea after the 2017 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship Final.
Forner Kerry manager Pat O’Shea has been appointed as manager of Dr Crokes for the coming year following a club executive meeting on Tuesday night. O’Shea returns for a third stint as manager and the club will be hoping for a return to winning trophies, something they did with regularity under their new manager in his previous periods in charge at the famed Lewis Road club.
He will be joined by Andrew Kennelly, Niall O’Callaghan, Denis Coleman and Connie Murphy. Dr Crokes failed to make the knock-out stages on SFC last year following a one point loss to Na Gaeil but did finish the year on a high by winning the O’Donoghue Cup for a third year in a row.
