Eddie Brennan feels O’Loughlin Gaels must summon one of their finest performances to match the hunger St Thomas’ will bring to Sunday’s All-Ireland Club SHC final. But Brennan feels his former Cats teammate Brian Hogan is the man to coax that supreme effort from the Kilkenny champions.
Speaking with Anthony Daly on the Irish Examiner hurling podcast, Brennan said: “I’d give them every chance. If you look back on all O’Loughlin’s senior successes, my man Hogie was involved in every single one. This is his first as a manager. The lads have been refreshed by him, he’s getting a fair tune out of them.
