Cork's Munster Senior Hurling League clash with Limerick has again been postponed but this time due to a frozen pitch at Rathkeale.
This fixture was initially down to be played the weekend before last but it was postponed due to severe fog in Mallow on the day.
But now it is the frost causing the issues with the match now set to be played at the third attempt on Sunday at Mick Neville Park with throw-in set for 2pm.
The League final had been fixed for Sunday afternoon but with Cork's clash with Limerick in Rathkeale now fixed for that day, a new date will have to be selected.
A statement released by Limerick GAA reads; "This evenings Munster GAA Co-Op Superstores Senior Hurling League game between Limerick and Cork is postponed due to frozen pitch and will now take place on this Sunday 21st January at 2pm at Mick Neville Park."
Meanwhile the freezing conditions across Munster have also wreaked havoc on the Corn Uí Mhuirí fixture list as two of Wednesday's quarter finals have been postponed while the remaining ties have been subject to a change of venue.
St Brendan's clash with Clonakilty CC at Cill na Martra and Colaiste na Sceilge's game against Patrician Mallow at Currans have both been cancelled as the pitches are unplayable due to the frost.
The other two last eight matches have survived the elements and are still going ahead today but there has been a change of location for both.
The tie between Mercy Mounthawk and Rochestown has been switched from Mallow to the Páirc Uí Chaoimh astro turf (throw-in is at 1.30pm) while Tralee CBS' meeting with Abbey CBS has been moved from Rathkeale to the University of Limerick 4G (throw-in is at 1.45pm).
All four Sigerson Cup ties this evening are still going ahead as planned but further updates on their status will be provided if there is a change.
