Paudie Clifford is expected to be confirmed as Kerry senior football captain next week.

As last year’s county champions, East Kerry are entitled to nominate the skipper for 2024 and the elder Clifford brother is set to follow David as skipper for the forthcoming season. David also led the team in 2020.
