Clare name team for Munster Senior Hurling League tie against Limerick

The Banner side shows three players that featured in last year’s All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Kilkenny.

The Clare team for Wednesday evening's sold-out Munster SHL tie at home to Limerick shows three players that featured in last year’s All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Kilkenny.

Regular half-back Diarmuid Ryan is picked at midfield, David Reidy will line out at centre-forward, while Mark Rodgers is selected at full-forward.

There is a senior debut at corner-back for John Conneally. The Clooney-Quin clubman is one of two players from last year’s Clare U20 team making the step up to senior, corner-forward Keith Smyth the other.

Throw-in at the Clarecastle astro pitch is 7pm.
