Leinster champions Kilkenny will return to Carlow on Tuesday night for their rescheduled Dioralyte Walsh Cup opener following this afternoon’s postponement.

Heavy fog shrouded the county grounds in Carlow and while both management teams had been keen to press ahead with the 1.30pm encounter, with the throw-in pushed back on two occasions, referee Eamonn Furlong eventually called it off.
