Return of classy duo provide ‘big pluses’ for Davy and Déise

Calum Lyons and Neil Montgomery will soon return from travelling to rejoin the Waterford panel with further positive news on the injury front

Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald has confirmed Calum Lyons and Neil Montgomery will soon return from travelling to rejoin the panel.

However, the Déise head into their opening Co-op Superstores Munster SH League opener against Kerry in Tralee on Tuesday evening without at least 14 of the 2024 panel, including seven of the side that beat Tipperary in their final Munster SHC round game last May.
