Tipperary football chiefs are "working away" on securing a new senior football manager to replace David Power after favoured candidate Peter Keane withdrew from consideration on Sunday.

The former Kerry manager was in detailed talks with Premier county officials, who were confident they had bagged their preferred candidate.
