'Stay with us' - Davy Fitz pleads with Waterford public ahead of 2024 season

There was little to get excited about in his first season back with Waterford, as a mid-table league finish and a solitary win in the Championship added up to frustration for fans.

Davy Fitzgerald has pleaded with Waterford supporters not to rush to judgement too early in 2024 and to 'give us the year and stay with us'.

But if things go south and there isn't a 'major improvement' by season's end, after a difficult 2023, he'll be happy to step aside.
