No news is good news, right? Dessie Farrell still has a season remaining in his current term and Dublin aren’t known to make public displays of continuation.

Only, their supporters have learned silence isn’t always golden. It wasn’t until November 30 that Jim Gavin stepped down almost four years ago. Yet Gavin knew at least two months before that the All-Ireland final replay win over Kerry on September 14 was his last game in charge.
