Cork GAA previews: Douglas primed to double the dose on St Michael's

After having a point to spare in first meeting, Douglas will look to build victory on defensive solidity again

Bon Secours Cork Premier SFC Group C playoff: Douglas v St Michael’s, Páirc Uí Rinn (A Long), 7.30pm 

A second group meeting that neither had envisaged. Douglas had a point to spare when they met in Round 1. The 2-8 Douglas kicked that evening was their biggest total across their three group outings. Scores are not coming easy for them and so if they are to again better Michael’s, it will be a victory built on shutting out the opposition. St Michael’s will be full of confidence after securing their maiden Premier Senior win over Mallow. Simon Falvey, Andrew Murphy, Daniel Meaney, and Rory O’Shaughnessy will look to give them a foothold in the middle third.
