The GAA’s 2021 season has been put into cold storage until the beginning of April, at the earliest, following a Government decision that inter-county activity no longer be permitted under level 5 restrictions.

In light of repeated Government utterances that the current level 5 restrictions will extend beyond the next review date of March 5, the GAA’s Covid Advisory group Wednesday night recommended that no training or games be permitted until Easter weekend, which falls on April 3/4, at the earliest.
