GAA can do more to tackle racism, says Mayo’s Shairoze Akram

Former All-Ireland U21 winning Mayo defender Shairoze Akram reckons the GAA has improved its stance on racism but can still do better.

Akram, who moved from Pakistan to Ireland before his fifth birthday, recalled three clear instances of racism while playing Gaelic football.
