Latest: Dr Harty Cup final called off due to weather conditions

Update 11.25am: The meeting of Christian Brothers College and St Flannan’s College in the Dr Harty Cup final has been called off due to weather conditions.

The game was scheduled for 12pm in Mallow today but following an inspection by the referee, it is now postponed to February 29 at 1pm in Mallow.

Update 9am by Sports Desk staff:More used to competing for Munster schools rugby titles, CBC Cork are bidding for their first Harty Cup in their second successive final.

Having avenged their loss to Midleton CBS in a dramatic semi-final, CBC will have to defeat record champions St Flannan's in today's decider, with the Clare side hoping to end a 15-year drought without a Harty Cup.
