Out of all of Galway’s three All-Ireland senior successes, I imagine this one will tick all the boxes. In contrast to the two previous low-scoring finals, there was widespread praise among the 24,730-strong crowd after this edge-of-the-seat encounter. The game of camogie was the big winner, showcased all through as the spectacle it is.
