Motion seeks to allow young stars step back to U20 arena

Several counties are in line to benefit from plans to allow U20 footballers on senior panels to return to play in the U20 inter-county championship so long as the seniors have been knocked out of the All-Ireland SFC.

A motion, endorsed by Central Council and proposed by the Central Competitions Control Committee, will be put to Annual Congress in Wexford town’s Whites Hotel on Saturday.
