David Clifford to miss Kerry's league campaign

A scheduled shoulder operation next month is expected to keep David Clifford sidelined for most, if not all, of Kerry’s Allianz League campaign.

Clifford will go under the knife soon after East Kerry’s interests in the county championship are over — they face Dingle in a semi-final replay on Sunday with the final against Dr Crokes set for seven days later.
