UCD needed double-extra time to see off Ulster University in last night's Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup semi-final.

UU twice fought back to equalise and force periods of extra-time before UCD eventually prevailed to reach Saturday's final against NUIG on a scoreline of 0-18 to 1-13.

Brian O'Seanachain and Con O'Callaghan were the ones to score in the second period of double extra-time and book UCD's place last night.
