With four weeks until it’s ready, here’s how Páirc Uí Chaoimh is progressing

In the afterglow of the Cork hurlers’ defeat of All-Ireland champions Tipperary, hopes are high that Cork will have two teams capable of drawing big crowds to the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh, writes Stephen Barry.

Less than a month away from the official handover date of June 18, the Páirc is being readied for a planned grand opening of hosting a Munster final in July – depending on results.
