Injuries force Tipperary All-Ireland winner to retire

Three Tipperary All-Ireland winners have retired in the past month.

Gearoid Ryan has become the third Tipperary hurler to announce his retirement in the past month, writes Stephen Barry.

The two-time All-Ireland winner was a star performer on the 2010 team that stopped Kilkenny’s five-in-a-row attempt in his first year as a starter.
