However O’Dwyer, who missed out on the Munster final through suspension and was on the bench for the semi-final, has been given the nod to replace Niall O’Meara in attack.

The Tipperary team is otherwise unchanged, meaning that five starters will play in their first All-Ireland final: Seamus Kennedy, Ronan Maher, Michael Breen, Dan McCormack and John McGrath, who switches to the left corner-forward slot.
