A football in Kilkenny and singing hurlers? It’s for the South-East’s Capital of Culture bid…

Walter Walsh's talent for football and, er, painting has been revealed.

The ‘Three Sisters’ of Kilkenny, Waterford and Wexford have joined together in a bid to become the 2020 European Capital of Culture, writes Stephen Barry.

Now hurlers from Brian Cody, Derek McGrath and Liam Dunne’s opposing panels have come together to publicise the bid.
