Twitter reacts to #MONvTYR and people were not kind
Monaghan and Tyrone went head-to-head in the first of today's SFC quarter-finals in Croke Park this afternoon, with the latter claiming a four-point victory.
Despite it being one of the important football matches of the season many people seemed unaware that there was a game going on at all.
Most were kind of distracted by the more entertaining pigeons than the actual game play itself.

Even the pigeons on the pitch are bored stiff with the #MONvTYR game. #GAA pic.twitter.com/g56jbfVAZL

Whilst others tried to convince us that the game was actually taking place...

For those who were paying attention to the match (we swear we were) they didn't seem too impressed by the state of play.
A lot of attention was given to how protective Tiernan McCann is of his hair
Understandable red card, that #Monaghan player wrecked your mans hair which is totally unacceptable #MONvTYR
