Another win for Cavan over London

London 0-11 Cavan 2-22, Ruislip
Cavan recorded their second All-Ireland SFC qualifier win over London in three years as Gearoid McKiernan and Dara McVeety both found the net in a 2-22 to 0-11 success at Ruislip.
Those second half goals from McKiernan and McVeety put the seal on a workmanlike performance from the Breffni Blues, who established an early foothold to lead 0-11 to 0-4 by half-time.
Cavan corner forward Niall McDermott impressed with a five-point haul - three from play - and despite the best efforts of Alan O'Hara and Lorcan Mulvey, who scored 0-9 between them, the Exiles were second best on the day.
