Video: Antrim U-21 star’s brilliant late strike earns unlikely replay

The Ulster Under-21 Football Championship threw up one of the moments of the season yesterday evening as a stunning late strike found the back of the net.

Strong favourites Armagh hosted Antrim and were leading heading into the closing minutes when the visitors' Owen Gallagher picked up the ball and drove at the heart of the Orchard County's defence with devastating results as you can see below.

Having carried the ball so far and evaded the on-coming challenges it took magnificent composure to float the ball so delicately into the top left-hand corner of the net and send the visiting crowd into raptures.

Gallagher’s goal sent the game to extra-time where Armagh again took control but threw away a six-

point lead as Antrim reeled the home side in to secure a replay.
