Kerry manager Eamon Fitzmaurice revealed last night the reasons for the decision of three-time All-Star Paul Galvin to end his senior inter-county football career.

Speaking in the aftermath of Kerry's one-point loss to Dublin in their Allianz League opener, and a short time after Galvin took to Twitter to reveal his decision, Fitzmaurice stated that the 34-year-old was unable to give the necessary commitment to the Kingdom set-up.
