Wexford manager Liam Dunne feels hurling would be "shooting itself in the foot" if it accepts the new proposal to restructure the Allianz League for 2014.

The GAA's Central Council will meet on Saturday week (October 12) when they will decide on whether to accept the proposal which would see the number of teams in Division 1A bumped up from six to eight, with Cork and Limerick earning a reprieve.
