Dublin GAA chairman Andy Kettle and team captain John McCaffrey have both stated their wishes for Anthony Daly to remain in charge of the Dublin senior hurlers for next season.

Daly's charges were tipped for All-Ireland glory after claiming the capital's first Leinster SHC title since 1961, but his fifth season with the Dubs came to a premature end last Sunday when they lost to Cork in a keenly-contested semi-final.
