Dub boss Gavin sticks with winning formula

Dublin manager Jim Gavin has selected an unchanged team for tomorrow's Leinster SFC final clash with old foes Meath at Croke Park (throw-in 2pm).

The Dubs demolished Kildare by 16 points last time out and although Eoghan O'Gara slotted home 1-2 that day as a half-time substitute, he will be on bench duty again tomorrow afternoon.

Paddy Andrews, whom O'Gara replaced, has held onto the full-forward berth. The Dublin camp were forced to dismiss rumours earlier this week that suggested that the St. Brigid's clubman was an injury doubt for the decider.

Andrews has scored 1-4 in Dublin's two Championship games so far this summer, with Bernard Brogan leading the way with 1-9 and Diarmuid Connolly (1-3), Paul Mannion and O'Gara (1-2 each) also getting among the goals.

This is the second successive unchanged team selection from Gavin in his debut Championship campaign - the same 15 players took to the Croke Park pitch for Dublin's opening round victory over Westmeath.

It is also serious sign of Dublin's strength in depth when players of the calibre of 2011 All-Ireland winning captain Bryan Cullen, Kevin McManamon, Denis Bastick and Kevin Nolan cannot break into the team.

Dublin are aiming to extend their dominance of the Leinster Championship with an eighth provincial crown in nine seasons.

This is their 60th Championship meeting with Meath and they have posted 32 wins over the Royals to date.

DUBLIN (SFC v Meath): Stephen Cluxton; Darren Daly, Rory O'Carroll, Jonny Cooper; James McCarty, Ger Brennan, Jack McCaffrey; Michael Darragh Macauley, Cian O'Sullivan; Paul Flynn, Ciaran Kilkenny, Diarmuid Connolly; Paul Mannion, Paddy Andrews, Bernard Brogan.
