Injury-prone Kerry star set for eye surgery

David Moran's cruel run of luck with injuries continued on Saturday when the Kerry midfielder sustained a serious eye injury during a challenge game against Laois.

The 25-year-old has battled back from two cruciate knee ligament injuries in recent seasons, while his comeback earlier in the current campaign was disrupted by a shoulder problem.
