'Gizzy' sidelined for Championship

Former captain and free-taker Diarmuid 'Gizzy' Lyng has been ruled out of Wexford's plans for this summer's Hurling Championship.

Lyng missed the Allianz Hurling League due to a virus and he will also be sidelined for the upcoming Championship - Liam Dunne's charges face Dublin in a Leinster SHC quarter-final on June 8.
