Two changes for St Brigid's ahead of club final
The St. Brigid's team for Sunday's AIB All-Ireland Club SFC final against Ballymun Kickhams has been announced.
For the much-anticipated Croke Park clash (throw-in 3.45pm), St. Brigid's boss Kevin McStay has brought Johnny Murray and Damien Kelleher back into the starting line-up.
Garvan Dolan makes way for Murray in defence, with the latter slotting in at left corner back and Gearoid Cunniffe, Ronan Stack and Niall Grehan switching roles in a rejigged defensive unit.
Kelleher's inclusion in the half-forward line sees Ger Aherne drop to the bench with the ever-influential Karol Mannion reverting to midfield from the centre forward berth.
The Roscommon and Connacht champions are set to line out with Richard Blaine leading their attack on this occasion, and Cathal McHugh is positioned at top of the right.
St. Brigid's, who dethroned All-Ireland title holders Crossmaglen in last month's semi-final, are slight Evens money favourites to lift the Andy Merrigan Cup
The men from Kiltoom and Cam are preparing for their second St. Patrick's Day appearance at Croke Park in three years. They lost the 2011 All-Ireland decider to Crossmaglen 2-11 to 1-11, but have bounced back to win two more provincial crowns.
