Pat Flanagan will have to see off two other candidates if he is to remain in charge of the Westmeath senior football team.

A special meeting of the Westmeath Football Board in Cusack Park last night saw incumbent boss Flanagan, Des Dolan senior and Finbar Egan all nominated for the senior and Under-21 manager's position by clubs.
