Counihan makes one change to Cork team

Cork manager Conor Counihan has made one change to his side for this Sunday's All-Ireland SFC Semi-final against Donegal at Croke Park.

Ballincollig's Patrick Kelly comes into the side in place of Ciarán Sheehan in the half-forward line.

Kelly, who missed the Munster Final because of injury, featured as a substitute against Kildare in the All-Ireland Quarter-final last time out.

Alan Quirke continues between the posts, with Ray Carey, Michael Shields and Eoin Cadogan forming the full-back line.

Centre-half-back Graham Canty is flanked by Paudie Kissane and Noel O'Leary.

Alan O'Connor partners Aidan Walsh at midfield.

Kelly is named at centre-half-forward alongside Fintan Goold and Paul Kerrigan.

Meanwhile, Colm O'Neill, Donncha O'Connor and Nicholas Murphy form the full-forward line.

Counihan says the modern game isn't just about the starting fifteen, but that it is very much about the strength of the panel.

"I don't think we necessarily start with our best 15," he said.

"You have to cognance of the opposition and you have to recognise who are the guys who can give you something when they come in and make an impact.

"They are difficult decisions to make. Sometimes you get it right and more times you don't, but you have to do what you see is best for the team."

CORK (SF v Donegal): Alan Quirke; Ray Carey, Michael Shields, Eoin Cadogan; Paudie Kissane, Graham Canty, Noel O'Leary; Alan O'Connor, Aidan Walsh; Fintan Goold, Patrick Kelly, Paul Kerrigan; Colm O'Neill, Donncha O'Connor, Nicholas Murphy.
