The Kildare v Sligo All-Ireland SFC fourth round qualifier will go ahead as planned at Dr. Hyde Park in Roscommon next Saturday despite protests from the Lilywhite camp.

The Kildare v Sligo All-Ireland SFC fourth round qualifier will go ahead as planned at Dr. Hyde Park in Roscommon next Saturday despite protests from the Lilywhite camp.

Given that Sligo played their last game - the Connacht final - at Dr. Hyde Park and the venue is more suited for Sligo fans to travel to, Kildare GAA officials voiced their concerns to the Central Competitions Control Committee.
