GAA confirm details for Fourth Round football ties

There will be two provincial derbies in the fourth round of the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers, following a hectic weekend of action around the country.

Kerry beat familiar foes Tyrone to reach the last round of the qualifiers and will take on provincial rivals Clare, who lost the recent Munster final to Cork.

That match has been set for next Saturday night (throw-in 7pm) with Limerick's Gaelic Grounds selected as the venue.

All of the fourth round games will take place on Saturday with the Laois-Meath clash getting proceedings underway at 3.30pm in O'Connor Park, Tullamore. There will be live coverage on RTÉ Television.

Thirty minutes later, Tipperary will be hoping to topple beaten Ulster finalists Down at Mullingar's Cusack Park in a novel pairing for this stage of the Championship.

The Mourne men, just like Meath, will have to cope with a six-day turnaround as they bid to reach the All-Ireland quarter-finals for the second time in three years.

Kildare, who edged out Limerick in extra-time last weekend, will travel west to Dr. Hyde Park in Roscommon for their fourth round meeting with Sligo (throw-in 6.30pm).
