Seanie Johnston is absent from the Kildare team named to face Cavan in Sunday's much-anticipated All-Ireland SFC second round qualifier.
The Cavan native, who has reportedly been battling a shoulder injury, is still to make his debut for his adopted county.
Johnston was part of the extended Kildare panel for the Leinster SFC semi-final defeat to Meath, taking his place with his new team-mates in the Hogan Stand.
Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney may still opt to add the forward to the starting line-up or the bench before the throw-in at Breffni Park this weekend.
Of the side announced today, McGeeney has made two changes in personnel along with a number of positional switches.
Ollie Lyons and Padraig O'Neill are the players to make way, with Andriú MacLochlainn and Robert Kelly slotting in at right corner back and midfield respectively.
MacLochlainn's inclusion sees Hugh McGrillen move to left half-back and Emmet Bolton reverts to the opposite wing.
Alan Smith, who donned the number 7 jersey against Meath, will start in the half forwards this time.
