Lory Meagher final is all-Ulster affair

Tyrone and Fermanagh will contest the Lory Meagher Cup final in two weeks' time after semi-final victories over Warwickshire and Leitrim respectively this afternoon.

At Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham, visitors Tyrone withstood a strong Warwickshire challenge as they booked their place in the June 9 decider.

A brace of first half goals from Conor Grogan and Ger Gilmore were key for the Red Hands in a game which saw visitors pushed hard by the beaten Allianz NHL Division 3B finalists before recording a 2-15 to 1-16 win.

Grogan and Gilmore's three-pointers helped the visitors take a 2-6 to 0-8 interval lead.

Kieran Courtney netted for Warwickshire on the restart, but not even the Down man's efforts were ultimately not enough for the Exiles.

Meanwhile, Fermanagh claimed a 3-16 to 2-12 semi-final victory over Leitrim on home soil at Maguiresbridge.

In a high-scoring and entertaining clash, both sides were goal-hungry in the opening half with all five goals registered before the break.

Leitrim looked sharpest early on, and led by 2-4 to 1-1 after 15 minutes as the hosts struggled to settle.

Fermanagh led by 3-9 to 2-6 at the interval with Declan McGarry and Sean Corrigan registering the hosts' goals.
