Warwickshire and Fermanagh claimed wins in Division 3B of the Hurling League this afternoon.

Warwickshire were comfortable 8-19 to 0-5 winners over Longford at Pairc na hEireann in Birmingham.

Longford fielded a youthful side mainly composed of players from the Clonguish club.

Just six of the squad were over 19 with the rest of the O'Farrell County players playing at minor level, and indeed there were a few Under-16 players involved.

There was a high-scoring encounter also in Ballinamore as Fermanagh cruised to a 33-point victory over hosts Leitrim - 6-27 to 2-6.

Fermanagh led by 4-15 to 1-4 at the interval, with Ryan Bogue (1-5), Sean Corrigan (1-0) and Shea Curran netting goals.

Curran found the net for the second time in the second quarter. He completed his hat-trick on the restart, with Paul McGoldrick claiming Fermanagh's other goal.
