Tipperary boss John Evans resigned in the wake of his side's loss to Sligo today, while there were wins for Longford, Offaly and Wexford in this afternoon's other games in Football League Division 3.

At Markievicz Park, hosts Sligo simply outclassed Tipperary for 1-16 to 0-07 victory.
