Monaghan win Ladies Football Ulster derby

Niamh Kindlon and Ellen McCarron scored five points each as Monaghan beat Tyrone in the big Ulster derby in Division 1 of the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies National Football League today.

The Farney girls won the battle of the beaten 2010 and 2011 All-Ireland finalists at Healy Park, Omagh, to book their place in the last four of this year’s League competition.
