Group urges Galway to lead charge for open Hurling draw

The Galway Hurling review group has called on the county to lead the charge for an open draw for the Championship.

The group, under former GAA president Joe Mc Donagh, has said they should solicit support from other counties for an open draw All-Ireland series.

The group has also reported that the bulk of clubs have no desire to enter Galway into the Leinster Championship at underage levels but are happy to remain there at Senior grade.
