Cork and Down to meet at Croke Park

The rematch between last year's All-Ireland SFC finalists, Cork and Down, has been set for Croke Park next Saturday evening.

The much-anticipated clash will form part of a football double header at GAA headquarters, with Kildare and Derry meeting in the curtain raiser at 4pm.

There is a 6pm start for Down's renewal of rivalries with Cork, who beat the Mourne men at the same venue in last September's final. The game will be broadcast live on TV3.

The GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee have released the fixture details for the upcoming qualifier games in the 2011 Championship.

O'Moore Park in Portlaoise has been chosen to host the duel between Limerick and beaten Leinster finalists Wexford.

Meanwhile, at the same time (7pm) in Omagh, Ulster giants Tyrone and Armagh will go head-to-head in an all-ticket affair.

The winners of that encounter will advance to meet Roscommon, who lost yesterday's Connacht decider.

Tyrone are expected to be without the services of Stephen O'Neill next weekend. He injured his hamstring against Donegal last month and still has not recovered fully.

But Kevin Hughes and Martin Swift should be back on board for Mickey Harte's men after missing the second round win over Longford.

THIRD ROUND:

Tyrone v Armagh, Healy Park, 7pm

FOURTH ROUND:
