Roscommon unchanged for Connacht final
Roscommon will field an unchanged team when they battle it out with Mayo in Sunday's Connacht SFC final.
Peter Domican from St Brigid's will lead the Rossies in action. He is listed at centre-back for the encounter at Dr Hyde Park (throw-in 2pm).
Stephen Ormsby has overcome a hamstring problem to retain his place in the full-back line, while Michael Finneran and Karol Mannion form a familiar combination in centre-field.
Senan Kilbride (1-9), Donie Shine (1-6) and Conor Devaney (1-4), Roscommon's top scorers in this year's Championship, link up again in the full-forward line.
Fergal O'Donnell's selected side contains nine players who started for the county in their 2010 Connacht final win over Sligo.
Recent Championship debutants Niall Carty, Donal Ward and Senan O'Grady are first-time finalists. Kevin Higgins, used a second half substitute 12 months ago, and the aforementioned Kilbride and Devaney have also broken into the starting line-up.
This is the first Connacht final between these counties since 2004 when Mayo won by 10 points. The margin was 3-18 to 0-7 when they last crossed swords in the Championship two years ago.
Indeed, Roscommon are seeking their first SFC win over Mayo since 2001, following four successive defeats between 2002 and 2009.
