Wexford get green light for Championship double header

A large crowd is expected at Wexford Park on Saturday week, with Wexford hosting Westmeath and Kilkenny in the Leinster Senior Football and Hurling Championships respectively.

Leinster Council officials have given the go-ahead to the double header following the Wexford footballers' opening win over Offaly and a 3-16 to 1-11 victory for the county's hurlers yesterday against Antrim.
