Tyrone to face Donegal in Lory Meagher Cup decider

Tyrone advanced to their second Lory Meagher Cup Final in three years, where they will meet Donegal following today's semi-final action.

The Red Hands made their long journey to Pairc Na hEireann IN Birmingham a fruitful one as they came away with a five-point win.

The game was a tight affair throughout, with Tyrone only leading by a point at the interval on a 1-07 to 1-06 scoreline.

Rory O'Neill bagged the visitors' first half goal. Ciaran Boxwell found the back of the Tyrone net in the opening 35 minutes.

Tyrone held a six-point lead at one stage in the second half, but Stan Murray Hession's charges continued to trouble the Red Hand side.

Although Conall Maskey netted for the hosts, O'Neill scored a second goal for the eventual winners.

Tyrone's other scorers included Conor Grugan (0-04), Mark Winters, Mike O’Gorman, Justy Kelly and Gary Fox (0-01 each).
